Sister M. Lima Arackal

General Councilor

I am Sister Lima Arackal. I belong to the Indian Province, headquartered in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.  I was born in Kerala in 1966.  I joined our community in Pithora, Raipur in 1985.  I made my first profession on January 25, 1990 and my final vows on February 2, 1995. By profession I am a teacher.  However, a major part of my past years in religious life was dedicated at the service of the leadership ministry of the Indian province. In April of 2014 I was appointed In-charge of our community at Nagpur. Four years later, in the General Chapter of September 2018 I was elected a member of the General Council.

I regard it as an esteemed privilege serving our international community. On the other hand, living in the motherhouse here, the hallowed silence and solitude of the campus, the mellowness and peace reflected on the faces of the elderly sisters inspire me to refuel our congregational charism we so dearly inherited.
